This handsome baby boy is Luca! He was christened in a small ceremony earlier this year. Lorin, Luca’s mom, envisioned an intimate event with only their closest friends and family in attendance. Lorin wanted something that would be special enough for her son to wear for such a special moment. The Cameron outfit ended up being the perfect christening outfit for Luca. Lorin was able to mix and match different pieces from the collection for different looks throughout the day. Since her event was a mix of modern and traditional, the Cameron worked perfectly to match all the different parts of their day.
The Cameron Collection is all about layering pieces to create different looks. First, dress your little guy in the Cameron Jumpsuit. A jumpsuit made with antique white silk and perfectly detailed with blue and white silk-satin ribbon. Just before the christening ceremony begins, add the Cameron Convertible Skirt on top of the jumpsuit. It’s so quick and simple to put on. Simply slide the skirt over the jumpsuit (elastic skirt waist help to ensure a perfect, custom fit) and button the skirt onto the front bodice of the jumpsuit to secure in place. Within a few seconds, he’s ready to be christened wearing a traditional heirloom length silk gown.
After the ceremony, just remove the skirt and add a few accessories to complete the look, such as the Cameron Silk Booties or the Cameron Silk Hat. Personally, I love the addition of the Cameron Knit Sweater. The sweater is made out of the most beautiful shade of light blue and perfectly matches the ribbon detail on the jumpsuit. It the perfect layer to add for a baptism on a cooler day.
Luca’s mom took the time to share many beautiful photos from Luca’s Baptism. She also answered questions we had about the day and the planning process, so be sure to check out Luca’s Baptism in Namibia.
